STATION

UNDERGROUND

Founded in 2012, Station has been at the forefront of underground dance music, delivering cutting-edge records and unforgettable events. Recognized by LA Weekly as the "Best After Hours Venue" in its founding year, Station quickly gained momentum, hosting stages at renowned venues such as Exchange LA, Academy LA, and Florentine Gardens, while also producing annual events across the U.S.

In recent years, Station expanded its vision with the launch of Station Underground Records, a label focused on house and bass music. With chart-topping releases on Spotify, Beatport, Juno Download, and more, the label was named one of the top emerging bass music labels in 2023 by "BlackLotusAudio.com" and a "powerhouse tastemaker" by EDM.com in 2024. Station is known for pushing boundaries, and continues to innovate through genre-blending remix compilations and standout singles, championing the next generation of underground talent.

Woooooww….That Hairitage show at @stationstudioschs last Saturday was truly unforgettable! 🤩 We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came out and filled the night w/ such amazing energy. From the moment the doors opened, the vibes were high. The DJs had the warehouse buzzing from w/ wicked bassline. Not to mention the staff delivered their A-game every step of the way!!!

Huge thanks to everyone who danced their hearts out, vibed with friends, or even just kept the rhythm. Every bit of energy you brought added something special to the night, and we felt it from start to finish.

JAKELOV is an electronic music producer and DJ based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Jake's roots started with producing hip-hop beats and house music, which has progressed to producing various styles of bass music including but not limited to deep dubstep, experimental bass, and drum & bass. After DJing in his local college scene and local bass music shows, the JAKELOV project was born.

Known for selecting from a plethora of unreleased music and hard hitters from the underground, JAKELOV has supported artists like EPTIC, Jaenga, Ray Volpe, Tripp St, Minnesota, Ternion Sound, Chef Boyarbeatz, Criso, ++ more. JAKELOV blends genres including but not limited to Dubstep, Garage, Halftime, and drum and bass.

JAKELOV has released several records on established labels - with plenty more on the way, the project shows no signs of slowing down with plenty of unreleased music coming to streaming platforms soon.

Laken Gross, otherwise known to the bass community as M3RMADE, is a bass dj and producer from Columbia, SC. Station Underground’s resident mermaid is a powerhouse of energy who specializes in bass house and colorful dubstep tracks. Her bubbly sound combines influences from early dubstep, drum and bass, and big room to ensnare you in her nautical realm of dance. With a pianist as a mother, Laken grew up around music, also exploring the piano and vocals at a young age. Later life introduced marching band where she learned about music composition and played the trumpet. After spending time curating events in Columbia, this sea creature has moved into the production aspect of the industry with a few releases planned for 2023. She has shared the stage with other heavy hitting bass artists such as Wreckno, A Hundred Drums, Elderbass, Nötlo, VLCN, Drinkurwater, and Saint Miller. She also was featured on inaugural the Wub N Dub Festival Lineup in April of 2022 featuring other artists such as RUN DMT, Bawldy, and Meso. Get ready to get down because this blue haired fireball is coming in hot, ready to knock your tail fins off.
